Async coaching — threaded, not-in-real-time support¶
Audience: coaches. Support coachees through written back-and-forth that doesn't need a scheduled call, with safety triage built in.
Find it under Coaching → Async Pool.
How it works¶
- A coachee posts to a thread; a coach in the pool picks it up and replies. The exchange continues asynchronously — neither side has to be online at once.
- Threads carry a status so nothing falls through the cracks (open / in progress / resolved).
Triage & escalation (safety)¶
Async messages are triaged for risk. A thread flagged RED starts a 24-hour referral protocol — there's a clock on responding, and completing a clinical referral is logged for audit. Coaches manage a list of clinical-referral contacts to hand off to when a coachee needs more than coaching.
This is what makes async safe to offer at scale: a concerning message can't sit unseen, and the referral path is explicit and recorded.
Good to know¶
- Async ≠ a substitute for crisis support. The triage + referral protocol exists precisely so that high-risk situations are escalated to the right professional quickly.
- For a live, real-time conversation, use a coaching session instead; for a group, see Live workshops.
