Coach — getting started¶
Audience: coaches. This mirrors the in-app coach tour + checklist.
Welcome — here's the shortest path from "just logged in" to running your coaching on MyZone. There's a guided tour and a checklist in the app; this is the written version.
1. Set up your profile¶
Profile (bottom of the sidebar) → add your name and review your settings (dark mode, notifications). Dark mode and preferences live here too.
2. Try it with sample data (recommended first)¶
On My Coachees, click "Try with sample data" to load a couple of demo coachees with assignments — so you can explore assigning and reviewing before inviting real people. Remove it in one click when you're done; demo coachees are badged Sample.
3. Add a coachee¶
Add Coachee → invite by email, share an invite code, or accept a connection request.
4. Assign an exercise¶
Assign Exercise → pick an exercise from the library, choose a coachee (or a whole group), set an optional schedule + due date. It appears under Manage Assignments.
5. Review submissions¶
Manage Assignments → Review Submissions tab (it badges how many are waiting). Open a submission to read the answers, leave feedback, and lock it when you're done.
6. Go further¶
- Groups — bundle coachees to assign to everyone at once.
- Evaluations (5C) — composure, concentration, confidence, cope-ability, cohesion.
- Live Workshops — run a group session; participants join with a code and you broadcast exercises to the room.
- Imagery & Affirmations — assign guided visualizations / affirmations.
