Programme Packs — build a cohort training journey¶
Audience: coaches & operators. Author a reusable pack once, then apply it to a whole group so everyone gets the same exercises on a schedule.
A Programme Pack is a template: an ordered set of exercises, each with a release week. Apply it to a group and it creates the assignments for every member, revealed week-by-week. Re-applying later only adds new members — it never duplicates.
Find it under Assignments → Programme Packs in the coach dashboard.
Two samples are already there — "Sample: Mental Toughness — 4-Week Foundations" and "Sample: Mental Wellness — 2-Week Kickstart". Open one (or Apply it to a test group) to see how a pack is put together before building your own.
Create a pack¶
- Assignments → Programme Packs → New pack.
- Set a Name, an optional Description, and a Category (Mental Toughness / Mental Wellness / Both).
- Under Exercises, click + Add exercise for each item:
- Exercise — pick from the library.
- Week — the week it's released (1 = the first week of the programme).
- Due (days) — optional days-after-release for the due date. Add as many as you like, in order. (More than one exercise can share a week.)
- Create pack. A pack you create is Private to you by default — see Visibility & sharing below.
Apply a pack to a group¶
- On the pack, click Apply.
- Choose the Group and a Start date (Week 1) — Week 1 of the pack lines up with this date.
- Preview — shows how many members will get it (and how many already have it), plus a sample week-by-week schedule so you can sanity-check the dates.
- Apply to N coachee(s) — each member gets the exercises as scheduled assignments, hidden until their release week.
Changing a pack people already have¶
Applying deliberately skips anyone who already holds the pack — that's what makes it safe to apply twice. So editing a pack doesn't reach the cohort that already has it. Preview shows the count, and next to it:
Update the N who already have it. This pushes the whole edited plan to them — it adds what's new and takes back what's gone. Swap an exercise and they end up with the new one only, rather than both.
Two things it deliberately won't do:
- It never removes work someone has started. If an item you dropped from the plan has already been opened, started or submitted, it stays where it is and you're told how many were kept. Only untouched items are withdrawn.
- It never touches anything you assigned by hand. Only items the pack itself created.
A deactivated client is skipped with a note rather than failing the whole update, so one wound-down person can't block a cohort.
Visibility & sharing¶
Each pack on the list carries a small badge showing who can see it:
- Private — only you. This is the default for a pack you create. Only you (or an admin) can Edit, Share, or Archive it.
- Template — published by an admin to the shared Library, available to every coach. Only admins can publish templates. You can Apply or Clone a template, but not edit it.
- Shared with you — a pack another coach shared with you. You can Apply or Clone it, but not edit it.
- Shared · N — your own pack that you've shared with N coaches.
Share your pack with specific coaches. On your pack, click Share, pick a coach, and Share. They'll see it under their packs and can apply or clone it — they can't edit or delete it. Remove a coach from the list any time.
Clone to customise. To change a Template or a pack shared with you, click Clone to my packs (on your own packs it's Duplicate). You get a Private copy you fully own — adjust the exercises/weeks and save. The original is untouched. Shared packs are clone-to-edit by design.
Admins see an extra Visibility choice in the editor (Private / Library template) and can see/manage every coach's packs.
Good to know¶
- Re-apply any time. As new members join the group, apply the pack again — it adds the newcomers only, never re-assigns people who already have it.
- Scheduled = hidden until due. Future-week items don't show to the learner until their release date, so you can set up the whole programme up front.
- Phase 1 covers exercises. Imagery/affirmation items in packs, and the auto-applied IAPCF course journey, come in later phases.
