What's new¶
Recent improvements to MyZone Mindset, in plain language. The app updates itself — when a new version is ready you'll get an in-app "new version available" prompt; reload to get it. You can see the exact version you're on in the sidebar footer.
(This page covers user-facing highlights, not every small fix. Newest first.)
August 2026¶
Ask a question in Help & Support
- Help & Support now has an Ask a question box at the top. Type what you're trying to do in your own words — "how do I let someone catch up on a workshop they missed?" — and it answers from these guides, with a link to the page it came from so you can check it.
- It reads only the published help guides. It cannot see your account, your coachees, or anyone's data, so it can tell you how something works but never anything about a person.
- When the guides don't cover your question it says so rather than guessing, and points you at the contact box. If an answer looks wrong, the source link underneath is the thing to check.
Someone who missed a workshop can catch up on it
- Open a finished workshop and use "Someone missed it?" to admit a specific person. The workshop appears in their history, so they can work through it — usually alongside a recording you share.
- Re-open the exercises you want them to complete. A closed broadcast won't accept answers even from someone you've just admitted; if nothing seems to happen after admitting them, that's why.
- You admit named people — there's no re-opened join code. Codes get read aloud and stay in chat logs, so re-opening that path would let anyone who ever had one back into a finished workshop.
- No extra facilitation hours are clocked, and their answers are marked as caught up — your group report reads "8 of 12 responded · 2 catching up" rather than quietly changing meaning.
The AI debrief now opens with a post-workshop summary
- When the session ran and for how long, how many responded, total submissions, how many were catch-ups, and the date of the last one.
- Those numbers are counted from the records, not written by the AI — the debrief is explicitly told not to state counts, so anything numeric on that screen is safe to quote. This matters more now that answers can arrive days after the room emptied.
Privacy Mode now actually works everywhere
- The Privacy toggle masks other clients' names so you can screen-share safely. It turns out 19 coach-facing screens built names by hand and never consulted it — rosters, every assign / evaluate / periodize picker, team modals, the analytics deep-dive — so switching it on did nothing there. They all honour it now.
- Several pickers also showed
Name (email@…), which defeated the mask even where it worked, and one fell back to a raw email address when a client had no surname. Both fixed. - Marking a client confidential (so they stay masked even with Privacy off) now works on their detail page, overview and present view — previously it was ignored on exactly those screens.
A clearer coaching journey
- Coaching now has the same Before / During / After structure that Facilitation already had, so the page shows where you are in the work rather than a flat list of tools.
- The coaching session screen has one navigation rail instead of two.
- "Start a coaching session" used to lead to two different destinations depending on which button you pressed; both now go to Sessions.
- The S.P.O.R.T. canvas shows each zone's position in the S→P→O→R→T sequence and highlights the current step (the first zone still empty). Keyboard users were previously tabbed through it backwards.
End a session you opened by mistake
- The end-session dialog used to refuse anything under a minute, which left a coach exploring the product with minutes on their hours ledger — and that ledger feeds IAPCF PD hours — and no way to remove them.
- Zero is now a valid answer: the button reads "End without clocking" and nothing is recorded. The per-session maximum is unchanged.
Notifications take you to the thing they're announcing
- Bell notifications were landing on the dashboard instead of the item, and the reminder job was skipping whole windows, so some scheduled unlocks never notified anyone. Both fixed, and the existing backlog was repaired.
Reported a problem? You get a real answer
- Every closed report carries a written explanation in three parts — what was wrong, what we changed, how we checked it — so "Fixed" isn't something you have to take on trust.
- A report we decide not to act on now says so clearly, with the reason, instead of looking identical to one that shipped.
Smaller things
- Programme Packs is reachable from the exercise library, beside the assign action — not only from the sidebar.
- The "Getting Started" checklist is gone from the Coaching page; once mostly ticked it just pushed the actual work below the fold. The guided tour still covers orientation.
- New Session in one click, and session titles now lead with the date so two sessions with the same name are tellable apart.
- Skeleton loaders replace blank spinners on the Dashboard, Coachee home and Exercises library, and empty states now offer a next step instead of dead-ending. A roster with no coachees at all no longer suggests you "adjust your search".
- Coach-facing copy says Coachee rather than "client", and Groups rather than "teams".
- Programme pack cards show full Mental Toughness / Mental Wellness labels instead of raw
MT/MW/BOTHcodes, with a tooltip explaining the 5C skills and PERMA+. - Periodisation warns you when a track produced nothing — a calendar with Mental Wellness enabled could come back containing no wellness content at all, silently. It now says which track yielded nothing and why. (The underlying wellness content gap is still being worked on.)
July 2026¶
Facilitators can broadcast the IPS Record and Performance Profile live
- Alongside exercises, Wellness and the 5C/B3 check-ins, a facilitator can now push an IPS Record and a Performance Profile straight to the room in a live workshop.
- IPS Record — participants place a single point (their arousal × performance). It saves to each participant's own IPS, so it flows into their scatter chart and the group IPS report.
- Performance Profile — participants rate Current and Target for each area, using the group's shared categories (so everyone rates the same list). It saves to each participant's own Performance Profile.
Demo mode — show the room how to do a task (no second account)
- Every broadcast in the live console now has a Demo button. It opens the exact form participants see — fully fillable — so you can demonstrate how to complete it on the projector.
- It saves nothing: no second/coachee account, no data written, no effect on anyone's results. Fill it in to show the flow, hit Reset or Close when you're done.
IPS Magic Number — shows a provisional number instead of a blank
- When there's a clear peak in your data, the Magic Number (best arousal level) and IZOF range show as your confirmed numbers, as before.
- When you've logged 3+ competitions but the data doesn't yet form a clear peak (e.g. you tend to perform better the more amped you get), the cards now show a Provisional number — the arousal where you've performed best so far — clearly tagged not yet confirmed, instead of a blank "–". The hint tells you which end of the arousal range to explore next to confirm it.
- It only stays "–" when there are fewer than 3 competitions — there just isn't a pattern yet.
- The Sleep/Panic calibration anchors still shape the curve on the chart (and refine a confirmed number), but they don't stand in for real competition data.
Profiling scores read correctly in the live room
- In a live workshop, a profiling tool's reverse-worded items (e.g. Confidence's "I doubt I can succeed") are now scored correctly in the facilitator's live views too — the console, group report and each participant's summary — so they match what the coachee sees in their own report. (Previously the live views could read a struggling area as artificially high.)
5C Mental Toughness Profiling is now a proper profiling tool
- It sits alongside Mindfulness in your clients' Profiling Tools list and uses the same take-and-report flow — so any new profiling tool added later shows up automatically, no waiting on a rebuild.
- It's coach-issued: turn it on for a client from their Check-in access card (a client sees it locked until you do). You can still record it for a client in-session as before.
- The report scores it correctly, including the instrument's reverse-worded items.
My Reports — clearer and future-proof
- One tab per profiling tool, built from the live list, so new tools appear here on their own.
- The 5C Mental Toughness Profiling tab now shows the new self-profile report and your earlier coach 5C evaluations / check-ins together. "Wellness" is now "Wellness Check-in" (matching Toughness Check-in).
- In a live workshop, after a client fills in a profiling broadcast they now get a "View your full report ↗" link — the in-room view is score-only; the full report (what each factor means, trends, history) opens in a new tab.
- The coachee home no longer shows a redundant "Wellness with
" line for single-coach clients.
Your sidebar now follows your workflow
- The three sections — Facilitation, Coaching, Assignments — now live in the sidebar as a workflow switcher, and the old top tab bar is gone. Open a section and its pages are grouped by stage: Pre-session → During → Post-session, so the nav follows how you actually run a session. Fewer things on screen, one click to switch sections.
- Prefer the old top tabs? Switch back any time in Profile → Section-accordion sidebar.
Background music under an affirmation
- An affirmation can now carry a background bed — choose one under Background music (optional) in the affirmation editor, and it plays softly under the spoken affirmation for the coachee (the same gentle overlay imagery already uses). See Imagery & affirmations.
One-click "Waitley cadence" for affirmations
- A Waitley cadence button in the affirmation editor restructures the text into the Dennis Waitley style: each statement is spoken twice with a silent pause for the client to repeat it to themselves, before moving on. It uses the existing pause markers, so generated audio has the gaps built in. See Imagery & affirmations.
Create or assign straight from the Assignments page
- The Manage Assignments screen now has a contextual action on each tab — Assign Exercise, New Affirmation (opens the editor ready to write), New Imagery — so you can start one without going back through the sidebar.
Broadcast the 5C Mental Toughness Profiling live
- The full 5C Mental Toughness Profiling (all 25 items) is now a broadcast option in a live workshop — from both the console and the run order — so the room can complete it together on their own devices. Each completed profile saves to that participant's own reports.
- Together with the Toughness Check-in (B3), that gives you the full flow: B3 for the basic skills and the 5C profiling for the applied components.
- The anonymous group report scores it correctly, including the instrument's reverse-worded items — so the projector rollup matches each participant's own report.
- See Live workshops.
A new Toughness Check-in (B3)
- A quick weekly self check-in on the three basic mental skills — Goals, Imagery, and Self-talk — six statements rated 0–10, with a subscale trend report. It's the mental-toughness counterpart to the Wellness Check-in, and coaches can broadcast it live in a workshop.
- The applied 5C (Composure, Concentration, Confidence, Cope-ability, Cohesion) now lives under profiling (they take longer to develop) — still available as a coach evaluation, a coachee 5C Check-in, and the coach-issued 5C Mental Toughness Profiling.
- See Evaluation & profiling tools.
A cleaner way around the app
- Search your sidebar — a search box at the top of the sidebar jumps you straight to any page.
- Tidier navigation — sidebar groups start collapsed so you can see everything at a glance and open just what you need; the mobile Menu button is clearer; and the home Check-in tiles got a fresh look.
- Assignments, together — imagery and affirmation assignments now live under tabs on the main Manage Assignments screen instead of separate pages.
Live workshops — much more to run a room
- Broadcast profiling & check-ins, not just exercises — push a Mindfulness (or other) check-in to the group and see it filled in live.
- Keep several things open at once and comment on each without closing the others.
- Open items stay answerable after the session ends — latecomers can still fill in, and participants can edit their answer until you close it.
- Present view — a clean, name-free screen for the projector (big join code, live counts, and an anonymous group report), separate from your control console.
- Responses are kept. Participants get a Workshop History of everything you broadcast, your comments on their answers, and — for a completed profiling — a check-in saved to their reports.
- See Live workshops for the full guide.
Profiling in a workshop must be complete — participants now answer every item before they can submit, so group scores are always based on complete profiles.
Clearer group reports — each factor now shows a range bar: a shaded band for the group's spread (lowest to highest) with a marker at the average, on a fixed scale so bars are directly comparable. (How to read them.)
Privacy Mode, spelled out — the Privacy toggle (top-right) masks other clients to initials and hides their emails for screen-sharing and demos; the client you're working with still shows in full. ("Collapse" / "Hide coachee list" are separate — they just tidy the list.) (More.)
Content protection — when your exercises, imagery scripts, and affirmations are being read, the text can't be selected, copied, or right-clicked — a deterrent against casual copying. Your create/edit screens stay fully editable.
Smoother on mobile — scale labels (e.g. "Almost Never" / "Almost Always") no longer get cut off on narrow screens.
